Giving Tuesday is the largest global generosity movement,
unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world.
At The Big Garden, we believe food access is a basic human right.
This year, because of the pandemic, our local food pantries have seen demand increase by as much as eight-fold.
The need is real, it is constant, and it is urgent. We believe our work is part of the solution.
In keeping with our mission, we are working to help provide fresh, healthy produce for our neighbors in need this holiday season. For the first time ever, we will operate our greenhouses beginning in November to grow as much emergency food as possible. We are also installing two 14x36 high tunnels on our campus in order to extend our growing season.
All food that is grown will be donated to our neighbors in need through local pantries and food distribution programs.
We need your help to ensure that our neighbors
have access to fresh produce this winter.
