Note: This event takes the place of our monthly Volunteer Crew for October.

Families, groups, and individuals are invited to join us for a unique firsthand opportunity to experience the connection between hunger and gardening. Participants will meet at the Big Garden campus and travel to the Big Garden site at First United Methodist Church in Springfield, where we will glean leftover produce from the fields. After enjoying a sack lunch together, we will deliver the produce to one of Omaha's food pantries. There, we will learn how the produce makes a difference for our friends and neighbors who struggle with hunger.

Your $5/person donation helps to offset transportation costs. Bring your own sack lunch. Registration will be available in August.
