APRIL SHOWERS
A virtual fundraiser to strengthen food security.
Food security is more important now than ever.
Your support can make a real difference.
We need your help to raise $50,000 this April.
The COVID-19 pandemic showed us just how fragile our local food systems are:
food supply chains were interrupted, jobs were lost, and families lined up for blocks around local pantries to receive food.
Three years since the beginning of the pandemic, our community continues to strive for recovery.
During the pandemic, at-home food costs rose over 30%. Your support to help spread food education is at an all-time high.
Since the pandemic, we have taught over 10,000 students, built more than 75 gardens and fruit tree groves, and have grown over 15,000 pounds of nutrient-dense garden-fresh produce
to distribute through local food pantries & food distribution programs.
Your donation will help us to strengthen local food systems by teaching more school garden classes, building gardens and planting more orchards, and growing more food for and with neighbors in need.
Or text APRILSHOWERS to 44-321 to donate
