Today marks the first Wednesday of 2022 and we decided to dedicate Wednesdays in January to highlight the work our staff puts in to make sure The Big Garden is ready for the busy seasons.  

Over the next four weeks, we will take you on an eye-opening, photographic journey following Amy, Brittany, Lauren, and the rest of our staff as they carry out routine maintenance to ensure everything is ready for the Spring Plant Sale happening in the coming months! 

First up, we are featuring Miss Amy. It might be a blistery 6° outside with a wind chill that no one wants to be thinking about, but last month, we got a nice heat wave that allowed us to go out and take care of some gnarly weeds that were growing in front of our Education Center. 

Weeding seems little and almost unimportant, and something most of us do not have to plan for in the middle of winter, but it is essential to ensure a smooth operation at The Big Garden!
