Brittany Puncochar, Gardens and Giving Grove Manager, Omaha She/Her/Hers

Brittany has lived in Omaha since 2016. She joined The Big Garden after the school where she taught Montessori closed due to COVID-19. She soon discovered Americorp and began helping with The Big Garden as an Americorp and fell absolutely in love with the organization. As a result, she has developed a huge passion for growing food and working with her community to tackle food insecurity. She assists on campus with the greenhouses, outdoor spaces and helps our education teams in schools. Brittany is currently a full-time student working on her degree in horticulture and business. In her free time, she loves spending time with her thirteen-year-old son, being out in nature, and being outdoors as much as possible.
