Brittany Puncochar, ACTING EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, Omaha

Brittany has lived in Omaha since 2016. She joined The Big Garden after the school where she taught Montessori closed due to COVID-19 in 2020. She soon discovered Americorp and began helping with The Big Garden as an Americorp and fell absolutely in love with the organization. As a result, she has developed a huge passion for growing food and working with her community to tackle food insecurity. She assists on campus with the greenhouses, outdoor spaces, education, Giving Grove and garden build programs. She recently stepped into the Acting Executive Director role. In her free time, she loves spending time with her husband and son, being outdoors as much as possible, and playing with their three cats.
