The Big Garden Archives: Spice Blends

Italian Blend
For soups, spaghetti, casseroles, or to sprinkle on toasted bread with butter!

1 tbsp basil
1 tbsp marjoram
1 tbsp oregano
½ tbsp rosemary
½ tbsp thyme
¼ tsp garlic powder 

 

Ranch Dip 
For wings, veggies, and everything else that’s good with ranch!

2 tbsp parsley
1 tsp dill
½ tsp garlic powder
¼ tsp onion powder
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp fresh ground pepper
Add 3 tbsp buttermilk to 4 oz cream cheese. Blend. Add herb mix and stir until well mixed. 

 

Mulled Spice Mix
Warms the winter soul! Enjoy!

8 black peppercorns
6 whole allspice
6 whole cloves
2-3 inch cinnamon stick
a pinch of orange rind

Combine ingredients with apple juice, orange juice, or grape juice on the stove in a pot. Simmer for 10-15 minutes. Strain and pour into cups!
