Nature Camp is back!

Camp runs 9:30-11:30 on Fridays June 21 & 28; July 12, 19, 26; and August 2nd.
Full cost = $60, Single class = $10; Sliding-scale pricing also available.
Class size will be limited to 25 campers at each session.
Our educators have passed required safety & background checks.

Friday, June 21st: Natural Building for Kids
In this camp we will explore the wonderful world of natural building materials. Be prepared to get messy and learn a lot about how we can use natural resources to build things we need.

Friday, June 28th: Farm Animals
Animals are a key component for the diversified farm ecosystem. Farm animals need to be treated with the utmost love and care. In this session of Nature Camp we will meet farm animals, learn how to best care for them, and why grass and healthy soils are so important for the farm and everyone!

Friday, July 12th: Grains
Most of us eat grains everyday and rarely think about where they come from. In this session participants will learn all about seed and grain crops, about growing grains using sustainable and organic practices, harvesting grains, and we will bake homemade sourdough bread!

Friday, July 19th: Fungi!
Fungus is everywhere! It is magical, mysterious, and so critical to all species. We will learn how to make mini mushroom farms.

Friday, July 26th: Fruits + Berries
Join us for an exploration of wild and cultivated fruits + berries. We will learn about growing perennial plants and the importance of perennial food systems, how to plant and tend fruits, sample local fruits, and concoct kid-friendly recipes.

Friday, August 2nd: Garden Art
Let your creativity run wild in this session as we explore how art, beauty, and imagination connect with gardening and farming.
