You've heard of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, right? Well, how about GivingTuesday? On December 1st, you can support the Big Garden online through the United Methodist Advance.

GivingTuesday is a national, 24-hour, online giving event. The Advance functions much like Catholic Relief Services or Lutheran World Relief, with 100% of your donation going directly to your project of choice. On December 1st, when you donate to our work through the Advance website, all gifts have the additional potential to be matched dollar-for-dollar.

The Big Garden works to increase food security in areas where neighbors have limited access to healthy foods. These community gardens also have the unique ability to dismantle barriers of age, class, education, and race, strengthening the bonds of community.

Our GivingTuesday goal is to fund three new gardens at $2500 each, or $7500 total.

We are asking friends near and far to donate to the Big Garden on GivingTuesday from midnight to midnight. The best part? You don't have to live in Omaha in order to participate, so you can save your postage! After you donate, be sure to share the link with friends, encouraging them to donate.

During this season of abundance, we extend our deepest gratitude to all of our friends and supporters. We appreciate your support as we work to eradicate hunger in our area. Thank you!
